                   GLOBAL WARMING

Global warming refers to the increase in average temperature of the earth's surface during the last century due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning which increases heat - trapping greenhouse gas levels in the earth's atmosphere. So we say the main reasons of global warming are like humans burning coal, oil, natural gas and also because of deforestation. Global warming can cause alot of problems like it can lead to rise in sea level, leading to the loss of coastal land, a change in precipitation patterns , increased risks of droughts and floods and it is also a threat to biodiversity. Now there are some ways by which we can prevent global warming and these are

1) Reduce water waste .

2) Driving more fuel - efficient vehicles.

3) planting more trees.

4) Reducing the burning of coal .

5) Convince the people around you to save energy.

To find the median for a frequency distribution, we need to use the relationship between the mean, median, and mode in a symmetrical distribution.

In a symmetrical distribution:

  • The mean, median, and mode are all equal.

Given that the mode is 7.88 and the mean is 8.32, we can see that they are not equal. This suggests that the distribution is not perfectly symmetrical.

However, we can still estimate the median based on the mode and mean using the following relationship:

First draw a line BC=6 cm.

At point B, using a proctactor measure an angle of 60º and mark a point say P.

Now join B and P and extend the line for a length of more than 5 cm.

with the help of a rounder mark point A on the line BP with a measurement of 5cm.

Now join AC.

There we have ΔABC.

Now construcy the second triangle whose sides are 3/4 th of the ΔABC.

to do that, draw a line BC which should be 3/4 times of 6cm.

BC=3/4×6 =4.5 cm and also AB=3/4×5=3.75 cm.

Repeat the above steps we used to construct the first triangle taking the new BC and AB values.
