"I have been taking Carnatic vocal lessons from Vidhyaa Ma'am for the last 5 months. She's been very patient and supportive throughout the learning process. She encourages her students to practice as much as possible and is very flexible and accommodating with class timings. Her varied experience is not limited to just carnatic songs but also other devotional songs of almost all deities most importantly Sai Bhajans. She also helps/trains other students on some cine songs for intercompany competitions. While I have been a great fan of devotional music she has taught a few exemplary songs written by her father - Sri Ulunthurpettai Shanmugam Iya. Vidhyaa Ma'am has a lot of experience working with vetrans in the Tamil music industry and has certainly has a lot to offer than one's expectations.
