The course will first introduce the essential concepts related to theory of vibration in a detailed manner. Subsequently, it will deal with the concepts and applications of structural dynamics with respect to structural engineering. The target audience for the course are civil engineering graduate, post-graduate students and research scholars. Pre-reqsite for the course is basic knowledge about differential equations, mechanics of materials and structural analysis. Simulations of key concepts will be demonstrated using MATLAB platform.
