IdentitySri Annai Kamakshi Kalaikudam is one of the renowned institutions, imparting training in the field of art. It was started in the year 1996 by the artist, Achalam. More than 500 students are presently studying here. More than 200 varieties of paintings are taught. About 30,000 students have studied in our institution in the past years and are now working in various art related fields. About 300 teachers who were trained in our institution are employed and self employed throughout the country. We have conducted more than 300 workshops and more than 150 art exhibitions like Solo shows, group shows All India art exhibition and also International art exhibition. In 2012 Achalam art gallery was started and so far the gallery has conducted more than 100 art exhibitions.
Kalikudam has formed a trust called "SRI ANNAI KAMAKSHI EDUCATIONAL TRUST" to give free training in art for dedicated and interested candidates. The Free Art Teacher Training course consists of 8 levels with three months duration for each level. The details and terms and conditions for the course is listed below.
