Contraction of the protoplast of a plant cell as a result of loss of water from the cell is called plasmolysis. Deplasmolysis is the entrance of water into a plasmolysed plant cell, causing the cell membrane to return to the cell wall.

The condition were male posses an extra X chromosome. This is also known as XXY syndrome. It is caused by non-disjunction of maternal and paternal chromosome during meiosis. Symptoms includes male not able to produce testosterone hormone, larger breast, infertility, small testes.

Morphologically and genetically identical individual are referred as clones. In asexual reproduction, there is no fusion fusion between male and the female gamete. As a result the offspring produced by them are genetically and morphologically identical to the parent.
