I, S.Sampat, am a Practicing Chartered Accountant and I am Proficient both in Carnatic and Western Classical Music. I am a disciple of Padmabhusan, Sangeetha kalanidhi Madurai Sri.T N Seshagopalan. I have teaching experience of more than 20 years in Carnatic Vocal and 10 years in Western Instrumental music like Piano, Keyboard and Guitar. I have trained many students to appear Grade exams of Trinity College of Music, London and many of them passed out with distinction. I am a well respected Carnatic musician with an innovative bent of mind. I am also a composer of merit. I composed music for the photo exhibition of Mr. Iqbal Mohamed, a renowned Indian Photographer, at the International Photo Gallery at London on behalf of Tamil Nadu Tourism Department. To my knowledge, I am the first ever carnatic musician to sing the raga Niroshta through Sruthi Bhedam (Modal Shift) in Todi. My mathematical musical Ideas/Patterns are appreciated by none other than one of the greatest MATHEMATICIANS OF THE WORLD, FILEDS MEDAL WINNER MR.MANJUL BHARGAVA!! I have written many articles on music. I hold the view, music is FUN. Music definitely improves your ability to perform well in your academics.
