Overview

I am a disciple of Dr Vasantha Srinivasan of Tuticorin & Shri Ramasamy PIllai of Suseendram .Started this school during the year 1996 for training students from basic to any level More than 50 students learn carnatic music - vocal from me. My methods are innovative and easy for the students to have a strong basic foundation for the beginners and easy techniques used for others to project their voice and culture it properly who have already learnt something in it. My timings are flexible All days in the week from 7am to till 9pm and I can take home tutions if the student need it necessarily Also I understand Online classes if the student is located away from my place The only thing that I can assure is that :once they join my training in music, they would definitely feel that they had wasted their precious time and money elsewhere and that they got a dedicated teacher..I will be able to compose give a song in any raga that they wish if they provide the lyrics or I can compose and give the same if you want in particular topic or about particular God..

Learn Carnatic Vocal from basic to professional level

"It was after reading the reviews that I contacted Sir for Carnatic classes and I have had such an enriching experience with just around 5 classes. He takes a lot of time to correct us and emphasizes on getting every detail right so that our basics are well formed. The practice tips he gives are extremely useful and the results become evident when we apply them. Thank you Sir and I hope to continue learning from you for a long long time! "

From each of our 72 melakartha raagas, 483 (Upaanga) Janya raagas can be listed out and for 72 melakartha raagas it would be 34,776 and just add the 72 to this , then you get 32,848 raags in total in "Upaaga" variety which mean, for the janya raagas that we get from each melakartha raaga, the notes that... ...more

Bhairavi has both small and big dhaivatham D1 and D2 in it likewise losts of bashanga janyas are there and they are coountless...So finally the theory says that "Raagas are Countless" I think this debate on how many raagas are there will end now.

Madhumita- first of all the person who asks a question should clearly indicate if he is asking for one has got a good musical background or not.. then only others who give their opinion would be useful.

You need to share them with some of your friends who knows music or your music teacher and get their feed back... This type of feel doesn't come all on a sudden and it comes after our effort put into this field for years...!! I think there is no use in discussing this over these type of networks...You can start learning proper music from teachers who knows both Carnatic and light songs (like that I teach) and get their effort in building your talent...
