Hi Divya,
The best place to find them is on NPTEL website.. They have a database of videos by expert faculties.. It is usually uploaded on YouTube, however they aren't visible when you search on YouTube. You have to visit the NPTEL official website and then go to YouTube via the link provided there. They also provide a download link so you can save them offline.
From time to time, they open certification courses for 3 to 6 months.. They are a combination of live classes and videos.. At the end, you have to write an exam and get your certification.

To be honest, Photoshop is considered the standard because it has set the standards for editing and manipulation of scalar graphics. However, as a starving artist and someone who can't afford the paid software, there are some alternatives for Photoshop which can get the job done.

Start with the version Photoshop 7.0. This is the barebone version of photoshop with no automated features to make it easy for you. After a while, you will see why that is important. Being able to make necessary edits with minimal tools makes you be more creative which inturn helps you hone your skills. Hope you will have a great time exploring the software.

The honest answer is... You can't. There is a reason why Adobe Photoshop is called the father of photo editing. Even with an improved user interface, the underlying complexities of operations do take time to learn. However, as the saying goes, Practice makes perfect. Keep learning the skill. You get your reward when you apply the learned skill in a real-life project. Many designers I know still say they are learning the software even now. So, My advice is to take your time to learn the fundamentals and then apply them in real-life projects.
