I have know Mohan for many years now and i have seen no one singing more soulful.A very strong knowledge of raga and thala combined with a great repertoire of carnatic krithi makes Mohan one of the best to learn from, yet he is very subtle and kind in approach with great enthusiasm is very evident while he discusses the music with anyone. Mohan is a very rare breed of musician who has a very good knowledge in Western Musical Concepts as he himself is a 7th grade guitarist and theory, which makes him more versatile in explaining the music and interpretation via any musical system.
