Hi Friend, just learn to play keyboard mainly scales and chords that are more than enough.This helps you have a good music knowledge and help you to stand out from others.

In starting Piano is not required, you can get keyboard with a touch key or a wk660 keyboard. You may required piano only after three years.

electric guitar in general... it is standing,but still you can also sit and play.... check which one is comfortable for you
