Kaso Shaiza

Hi, I’m Kaso Shaiza, a passionate guitarist and keyboardist with over 30 years of experience in the music industry as both a performer and teacher. I started my musical journey back in Grade 5, and since then, music has been more than just a skill—it’s been my way of life.

I hold a 2006 certification in Classical Guitar from Trinity College, but my musical identity evolved with the rock genre, which I embraced as my professional path. Influenced by the golden era of music, I specialize in playing and teaching 80s and 90s rock, blending classical techniques with modern energy.

Alongside my music journey, I’ve completed a BA in History from Manipur University. My academic background helps me bring a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to teaching music—respecting tradition while encouraging creativity.

As an experienced stage performer and studio artist, I provide students with not just musical training, but also real-world exposure. Whether it’s preparing for live concerts, studio sessions, or Trinity College music exams, I mentor students to confidently showcase their talent in professional environments.

My teaching style is highly personalized and hands-on, focusing on both technical skill and creative expression. For advanced-level students, I offer sessions on 5-minute instrumental compositions, songwriting, and original music creation.

I prefer conducting offline home tuition, ensuring each student receives undivided attention and a comfortable space to grow musically. My goal is to nurture musicians who can not only perform but create, compose, and innovate in their musical journey.
