With 6 years of dedicated experience in teaching Bharatanatyam and an MA in Bharatanatyam, I bring a profound understanding and passion for this classical dance form to my students. My journey in Bharatanatyam began 8 years ago, and since then, it has been a significant part of my life, shaping my artistic and professional endeavors.

I had the privilege of working for 3 years at Valley School in Bangalore, where I honed my teaching skills and developed a deep appreciation for the educational aspects of dance. This experience allowed me to interact with a diverse group of students and understand their unique learning needs and styles.

Currently, I offer online Bharatanatyam classes that last for one hour. My sessions are designed to be highly interactive, providing a live, immersive experience that fosters engagement and real-time feedback. I emphasize the importance of understanding the nuances of Bharatanatyam, including its intricate footwork, expressive hand gestures, and the rich cultural stories it conveys.

In my classes, I strive to create an environment where students feel inspired and motivated to explore the depths of Bharatanatyam. I refer to traditional texts and established techniques to ensure that my teachings are rooted in authenticity and respect for this ancient art form. My goal is to instill a deep appreciation and love for Bharatanatyam in my students, helping them develop their skills and express themselves through dance.
