As a freelance art teacher with over twenty-five years of experience, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and have a deep passion for teaching. I have had the opportunity to teach in various settings, including schools and through online platforms. In my career, I have trained more than three hundred students who have gone on to complete the NATA entrance exam and attend prestigious fine art colleges. I take pride in helping my students develop their artistic skills and realise their creative potential. Whether teaching basic drawing techniques or guiding advanced students in mastering complex painting styles, I am committed to providing high-quality art education.
My students range in age from five years and above, and I offer classes in fine arts, drawing, painting with watercolours and oils, sketching, and more. As a freelance art teacher, I used to go to students' homes to teach them. This allowed me to offer personalised instruction and tailor my lessons to my student's needs and interests. I believe fostering a positive and supportive learning environment is crucial to encouraging artistic growth and self-expression.
In addition to my in-person teaching, I have transitioned to online instruction, offering interactive classes to students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. My online classes are one year and three months, each lasting two hours. Using digital tools and resources, I can provide engaging and interactive lessons that allow students to learn independently and receive individualised feedback.
My teaching style emphasises hands-on learning, encouraging students to experiment with different mediums, techniques, and styles. Art is a form of self-expression and exploration, and I strive to instil curiosity and creativity in my students. I also emphasise the importance of critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-reflection in the artistic process. I am committed to continuously improving my teaching methods and staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the art world.
