IdentityHi! I am Amrutha Raghu from Chennai. I finished my master's degree at North Carolina State University with an MS in Chemical Engineering with a thesis in 2019. I have a deep understanding of chemistry, mathematics, and programming with research experience in renewable energy. My expertise lies in thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and chemical kinetics which I used to understand how biomass (derived from agriculture and forest waste) can be converted to alternative fuel. I graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli with a B.Tech in chemical engineering. I secured a rank of 11800 in JEE Mains with a score of 84/120 in the chemistry section in the year 2013. I am currently working at IIT Madras Research Park as a research scientist.
I also have teaching experience through teaching assistantship at the university, MATLAB tutoring for graduate students, and by hosting workshops in MATLAB programming. I am very passionate about teaching and can get through to any student and make them understand and apply complex concepts. I am excited to start this venture and help students like you to understand fundamental concepts in chemistry and hopefully appreciate them.
