IdentityGreetings! I am Prathibha, a passionate Carnatic music vocal trainer with over 10 years of experience. I hold a Postgraduate degree in Carnatic music, which has provided me with a deep understanding and appreciation of this classical art form. My journey in music began at a young age, and after completing my post-graduation, I dedicated myself to teaching this beautiful tradition to students from all walks of life.
I started offering online sessions shortly after my post-graduation to reach a wider audience and share my knowledge of Carnatic music. Over the years, I have taught many students, helping them develop a strong foundation in vocal music, ranging from beginners to advanced learners. My teaching approach is rooted in practical learning, as I believe in the importance of consistent practice for mastering any form of music.
My passion for Carnatic music has also been recognized through various awards, including the prestigious Prathiba Puruskar Award, presented to me by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. This honor has further motivated me to continue my work in teaching music and inspiring students to appreciate the nuances of this classical genre. I strive to instill the same love and dedication to music in my students that has shaped my own musical journey.
I conduct both online and offline sessions, typically lasting for 1 hour. During these sessions, I focus on providing practical training, ensuring that students not only understand the theoretical aspects of Carnatic music but also gain the skills to perform and express the music beautifully. My sessions are designed to be interactive, encouraging students to engage with the music and learn through active participation.
For students preparing for exams, I provide specialized training tailored to their needs. I offer notes and guidance to help them excel in their music exams. The training covers a variety of topics, including ragas, talas, and vocal techniques, with a strong emphasis on performance skills. I believe that every student has a unique voice, and my goal is to help each one of them develop their personal style while preserving the traditional roots of Carnatic music.
