I am a part time student doing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA). I have been learning Bharathanatyam since I was 3 and continued throughout my schooling period. For those who are interested to get to know the art form and would like to learn the basics mainly for exercise and increasing body stamina and flexibility I can teach the basics of the art form including all the adavus, theory and some basic abhinaya. The classes would also include body strengthening work outs as they are required for the art form. As I am not a professional dancer or tutor I am not eligible to teach beyond the basics. However, for those who are interested further, I can teach classical and semi-classical moves for songs of your choice. This includes abhinaya also. I would be charging 100/- per session and the time frame depends on the individual. The student can decide the number of sessions he/she wants in a month although it is advised to not take big breaks so as to not lose continuity. Students of any age groups and gender are more than welcome.
