IdentityI am a psychology graduate with 10 years of experience in Bharatnatyam classical dance and I teach the same at home. I have been a learning dance professional for the past 10 years and started learning Bharatnatyam when I was 10 years old. I like to express myself through the medium of dance and believe one can truly be their most honest selves when they are dancing.
Bharatnatyam is one dance form that truly inspires and pushes me to achieve higher levels of success. It helps me to make my body become more flexible and fit while also helping me to feel mentally and spiritually aligned with my soul.
About the class:
- step-by-step techniques which make learning fun and easy
- class begins with a short Sanskrit prayer and a short warm-up session
- proper instructions and demonstrations are given to the students by the teacher and special attention is paid to the body postures, dance mudras, and facial expressions.
- as a teacher, I like to pay special attention to how the students are liking the classes as the main aim is to let students express themselves freely through the means of dance.
