The Importance of Bengali Language:
This is one of the best ancient languages in India. The Bengali language is so popular that it is included in the list of the top ten most spoken languages globally. Although this is the official language of Bangladesh, there are many Bengali-speaking states in India. Even in foreign countries this language is spoken and praised by many. However, in India, mainly the native people of West Bengal talk in this language.
Apart from West Bengal, many Bengali-speaking people stay in states like Tripura and Assam. The national anthem of India, “Jana Gana Mana,” was actually written in the Bengali language by one of the most influential poets and writer Rabindranath Tagore.
As it is known, the Bengali language is rich in its unique culture and literary contribution. People who are willing to understand Indian culture and heritage should learn this language. Bengali literature displays some of the rarest and best literary specimens, and thus these are regarded as nothing lesser than gems of Indian literature. Besides, there are many other professional choices to make after knowing how to speak the language.
Here we would discuss some common ways to learn the Bengali language.
Start with a Good Conversation -
For beginners, it is alright not to speak Bengali right from the start. One should listen and try imitating the speakers. Gradually one can pick up a few commonly used words like ‘jabe’ ‘khabe’ etc, and try to incorporate those in their conversation. Primarily it would be a difficult task, but once someone becomes habituated with the process, it would be an easy affair, and one can speak fluent Bengali.
However, if someone wants to start with the training process all by themselves, it would be good to learn Bengali online, as there are many such courses available. The best part of such courses is that anyone can learn from their comfort zone.
Start to Pronounce the Alphabets -
The Bengali language itself has a close connection with Sanskrit. This means people speaking Hindi or any other language from Sanskrit should not have much difficulty learning Bengali. Most of the alphabets sound nearly the same as Hindi. In Bengali, there are 28 letters. So trying to pronounce the alphabet would be an excellent way to start. For beginners, it is best to find someone who can speak Bengali or check the online classes. At first, the alphabet might seem complicated, but as soon as the learning process starts and the learner imitates it, the process becomes easier to understand.
Pick a Proper Bengali Language Course -
To learn the Bengali language, it is vital to pick the right course. Searching online, anyone may come across several types of such courses. But not all of those are ideal for everyone. One should be very cautious with the requirements and then choose the course.
