My dear sometimes in life we dont need a push but we just need to stop ourselves from holding back. Brain will always resist to new tasks or the tasks which you are not trained for. Regarding motivation it is very natural to be motivated at times and at times not motivated at all, no one can remain the same all the time infact a person cannot remain the same after two minutes.
