I'm Sourya Chatterjee, a Guitarist, music producer, sound designer in Bangalore, currently working with a band 'My Conscience'.
I have 12 years of experience in guitar playing and and composing music. I played with multiple bands over the years in many cities across India. I'm a studio musician looking to give my students a good knowledge about Guitar playing and music composition.
I take my tudents and their Musicality very seriously. I embrace Music with passion. My aim is to make sure students develop the overall idea of music so that they can play any piece of music they love without the help of that guy in YouTube. Jokes apart, I would make my students proficient in guitar playing and appreciate the art of making music.
Students can expect to learn from basics of guitar; Rhythm, Harmony and Melody, chord structures, scales, modes, application of music theory to composing their own music , fingering techniques over the fretboard, playing in odd rhythms, using polyrhythms.
I love teaching students who are absolute beginners as well as students who have a few years experience. You can be absolutely assured that you are trusting the right person here.
