Exam regulation body CSAB has suggested that the admissions should be done solely on the basis of JEE Main scores, and that the 40 percent weightage granted to Class 12 scores for admissions to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs)and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) other than IITs may be done away with.
