0In the Odd semesters (1st, 3rd, 5th...) new students come to colleges and before they get used to the admission procedures, new environment, new friends, new books, sudden freedom from schools/parents and knowing the seniors (some call it Ragging) the exams are already there.
Simillarly in the even semesters (2nd, 4th, 6th...) students are busy with culturals and sports. Again before they realise the exams are lurking upon them
One has least time to understand the subjects. So some end up mugging without understanding and some with suppliments. Hence the foundation (basic concepts) are unclear. Eventually this will affect your advanced subjects in later semesters, your performance in campus interviews and also in any competitive exams you take later.
The good part is there is solution for this and and it can be of two forms.
1) Learn the subjects (atleast the tough ones) at leasure in your holidays through bootcamps
2) As you enjoy your day in colleges study in the evenings for n hour again through tuitions .
