Zahir Hussain

As a passionate chess instructor, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. My FIDE rating stands at 1665, and I have achieved a peak chess rating of around 2400 on Lichess. Over the past three years, I have dedicated myself to teaching students and helping them unlock their true potential in the game of chess.

I hold a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from Thapar University and have two years of professional experience working with an innovative American startup. This background has equipped me with a unique blend of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

My teaching philosophy revolves around simplifying even the most complex concepts into enjoyable and easily digestible lessons. I take pride in making learning fun and engaging for my students. Through this approach, I have successfully guided hundreds of students to realize their full potential.

One of my proudest achievements is winning the gold medal at Urja 2019, one of North India’s largest sports festivals. Additionally, I have defeated numerous FIDE Masters throughout my chess career, which has solidified my confidence in coaching students of all skill levels.
