1. What is a Computer?

Ans. Computer is an electronic device which can input data, process data and output meaningful information.

2. What is Data?

Ans. Data is meaningless information.  Your e-amil contact list is a data, without heading.

4. What is information?

Ans. When the list of data is given a heading contact list, this email list becomes a set of information.

5. What is input?

Ans. The data which is to be processed is send into computer, this is input.

6. What is output?

Ans. The data which is processed and made meaningful is sent out in the form of printouts, this is output.

7. What is printouts?

Ans. There are hardware devices, that are used to make hard copies into papers. These copies are called printouts.

8. What are various input devices and output devices?

Ans. Input devices: Keyboard, Mouse, Light pens, Scanners, Touchscreens, Microphones, Web cams, OMR, OCR, MICR are various inout devises.

Output devices: Monitor, Plotters, Printers, Loud speakers are various output devices.

9. What are different types of Printers. How are they classified?

Ans. Printers are of many types.  charecter printers, Line printers, Drum printers, inkjet printers, Laser printers are various printers. These printers are lassified in the basis of cost and mechanisms.

10. What are different types of Mouses?

Ans. Optical mouse, Scroll mouse, wireless mouse are three types of mouses. The optical mouses use lazer technology and are effective.
