My work at a school has opened a lot of doors for me as an individual. I remember feeling a lot of excitement during my days when I would get to connect and interact with students. It felt right to get a rush of energy after teaching them and the unique mix of problems and solutions left me with an opportunity to explore more every day. What I enjoyed the most off the meeting was the ability to help my students build relationships together through problem solving. The satisfying look on their faces was more than enough motivation to help them further clear out their weaknesses and assure them that there will be growth. They were able to not only improve academically, but hone themselves as individuals, and seeing that was the reason why I wanted to be a teacher. Regardless, I can’t ignore how patient and flexible I had to be while teaching. It did become more than a bit difficult to deal with the variety of requirements while also fulfilling the administrative responsibilities that came with the position. However, the challenges that were presented never demotivated me rather they helped shape me to become a more organised and purposeful individual.
