In today's world, it's key to success. Person may be very good in their domain/technical skills. If he/she not able to communicate the same in an effective manner then there is a roadblock for the success

There is not just one, communication may cover most of it but depending on your role in the organization it's also important to have and understand few other like, time management, conflict management, presentation skills etc...

How much would you pay to learn a softskill?

Depends on what exactly your requirement within the softskills. Usually it should start from INR 1000 to INR 5000. Having said that, it may also depends on the softskill trainer experience specially if the person comes with rich experience in this field.
