Urgen

I have a keen feeling to teach English as it fetches me satisfaction and the sense of enjoyment. I can say that teaching was one of my hidden fondness until when I realized that I really can. I used to give English tuition in my hometown during my gap year. I have volunteered in Parikrma center for learning in Bangalore for two weeks. I was assigned to teach English to group of students ranging from class 4 - class 9. I got the opportunity to communicate with the faculties who were supportive, approachable and down to earth. I have helped the students with their lessons by explaining the chapters, letting them to express their thoughts on the topics, highlighting the new words and making sentences and some other ways. I was also a part of a winter coaching program in my hometown where I have taught English to the students of class 10. I organised activities to make the class more lively and to foster friendly exchange of ideas and views. I made sure to answer their questions and doubts with the best of my capability. I prepared for lessons everyday and focused mainly on grammar, writing and pronunciation. I also tried to encourage them to enhance their writing and reading skills. I firmly believe in the quote; give respect and get respect. When I decide to do something, I gather all the good qualities in me to come together and make it happen. Obviously, I like exploring English and most importantly teaching English. I am determined and I look forward for this quest.
