Hi,
This is Uchit, a guitarist, musician, singer, songwriter, and music producer. I m a 3rd year engineering student but I really have a big crush on music which made me learn all these skills. I can play piano, drums, and many more but I specialize in guitar. Since I understand music theory I can relate to every musical instrument even if I don't know how to play it. Teaching guitar is not my main profession, I teach guitar only part-time. Now, what's my technique to teach guitar? First of all, I really open up with the student, and rather than being a creepy and strict teacher I like to become a friend who teaches. Since I m a singer too, I will be a singer companion with the student. We will try to compare the similarities with other musical instruments so that the student understands the music rather than only the guitar. We will learn many songs together, which will boost the student guitar knowledge because every song has different styles of music and at last, it's not easy to learn guitar but not tough either, to be a guitarist one must be consistent to practice because muscle memory is must in order to learn guitar. OMG! Do I have to practice for hours? The answer is a BIG NO! because if you practice for 5 to 15 min every day you can learn the basics in 2 to 3 months easily, but yes again consistency is a must. But yeah! you can practice for hours also, it depends on you! because the more you practice the faster you learn and that's the secret to learn guitar. Hope you get the basic idea. Now at last why m I here? since I m a student, I can't work all day so I have decided to work as a guitar teacher in my free time as a part-time job.
