From whatever we have seen and experienced over the years as a national humanitarian organization, there is one crucial game changer – positive leadership. We saw that positive leaders are able to move mountains, swing open tightly shut doors and make ways where there are none. Knowing this we set ourselves on a mission to create, nurture and launch positive leaders. That is how we conceived Talaash Academy of Development Studies.
Talaash Academy is the educational wing of Talaash Association, a leading national humanitarian organization of India. Through the Academy we will aim at meeting the enormous need for education in governance, development, human rights, peace and conflict studies in India and across the world. What makes us unique is the exposure and real life experience that we can offer our students. Throughout the course we engage students in the activities of Talaash Association, preparing them to establish a firm grounding for their career. Apart from the academic focus, we give immense importance to nurturing their leadership skills, creativity, and fostering a research mind-set. By the end of the course, our goal is to help our students launch their own organizations. In this way we will be happy to have helped in impacting many more lives through our students.
