I have 2 years of experience in engineering design (instrumentation and control), but my background is BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application). Can I move back to IT industry? What course is preferable for me to enter in IT industry?

Yes, you can enter into IT as you have BCA background. However, you need to brush up your skills as per current demand. Learn Python as the language is in high demand. If you don't want to get into coding, learn other tools required for the jobs like Technical writer or similar.

Hi All,

        I have a Friend who completed M.SC computer science in the year of 2016 and now he is willing to enter into IT Field. Can any one suggest which course or technology is better for him and for the feature. I am working in software field for 3 Years. As per me i suggested AWS or Python. My Question is which course will be better for him to enter IT field. Some of my friends told me that companies will hire only experience candiate for AWS profile is it true or shall i tell him to continue with Python with WEB or Machine Learning.

Machine learning is a new technology and good to learn. However, it is a bit difficult for a newcomer to enter this. I suggest to learn Python and enter Test automation which is a bit easier than former.

Why still in India lot of people are learning Java and .Net etc. We know that Python is in very demand in now-a-days. Recently I came to know that infosys and wipro was not able to undertake a project because it need to be develop in Python (source economictimes). What may be the good way to have a awareness about Python Language?

Python is gaining popularity as it is easy to learn compare to other programming and scripting languages. It started as a simple scripting language for automation, however, now also used as programming language. I believed .Net is loosing it's popularity due to it's OS specific dependency. and only being used in legacy applications. Java is still popular as it has variety of support and libraries for web app, mobile app etc. but Python is definitely having the edge over these now. Best way to increase awareness about Python is to explain the usage of python in variety of domain like Cloud, SDN, storage, banking etc.
