Discussion: A conversation about something. Argument: a conversation or discussion in which two or more people disagree, often angrily. A discussion is neutral, an argument denotes a conflict. However, we often say things like heated discussion, to mean the same as an argument, or a conversation that includes conflict. Cheers

Hi Jatin, English is our tertiary language and it's obvious that we are no experts. Even the native speakers would many a times fail in adequately implementing the english language. Everyone of us either were grounded to english from our school days or after stepping our of college (That's when we realize the importance of a global language when hunting for jobs) Never bother yourself too much as help, resources & materials are plenty. Internet is cramped with zillions of resources which would act as self help tools (Many of which are FREE). A few steps which would help you in garnering speed (If followed religously): 1) Ensure you speck with everyone around you in english (That's ok if people laugh) 2) Read Read & Read. Read just about anything. Grab a copy of an english newspaper and scan through it each morning. Make it an habit to read an english newspaper for atleast 1 hour each day. 3) At the end of each day, start writing on the day's experience in english. What activities did you do, where did you go, what did you eat, about your friends or just about anything. Write a page in english about that day's experience, and continue it for a few months. 4) Watch british channels. The global english is called "Received Prnounciation" Or "Queens English". We are closley associated with Brits english. 5) Write a story in english. Hi ma'am.. I have completed M.sc. in chemistry. I've been working since two years. I unable to give enough support to my family financially with my current salary. I am interested in learning any foreign language. Will it help me out in getting job as translator?? I heard that it helps better in getting good pay, as well as its my interest too! Please tell me whether I can get a translator job if i learn foreign language ?

Hi Roopa, The Job Markt is dynamic and volatile. Although there are quite a few global players recruiting for various language translators, still it's not guranteed that one would get an offer. Learning is always welcome and we have to upgrade our skills/exposure to match the industry expectations. However, solely learning a language to get an offer may not help. Learn the language and at the same time explore other possibilities as well. There are inumerable jobs that would pay as per market standards. Along with language learning, empower yourself by enrolling to a few other programs as well Happy Careers!! and Cheers
