IdentityOver 17 years of work experience in holistic childhood development and education, focussing on alternative teaching and learning modes for children across the spectrum, training and mentoring teachers on building alternate pedagogies ,designing and developing art based “Inner Grammar” practices that nurture the imagination and creativity of the learner, enrich self- realization , and make learning a grammatically aesthetic process.
The role that arts can play in the process of learning is now well acknowledged. But to see art becoming a reality through the painting brush of “Awareness” is a different dimension which is not yet completely understood.
This is my vision. I wish to share and spread this through “The Earthing Awareness” a Curriculum and Pedagogy that I have designed for children and Teacher Training and Parent Workshops.
This design is in sync with the “Revised Education Policy 2020”
I am also a student and practitioner of Ayurveda, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.

In July 2012, I set up my own freelance consultancy called Edha, through which I have been conducting workshops for children, parents, teachers and interested groups. These workshops have focused on using holistic learning practices and cognitive art therapy modules to nurture the individual’s capabilities to learn. The modules integrate the physical (doing and making things with your own hand); the affective (relating to the natural world and others in a harmonious and healing way); and the intellectual (deepening conceptualization, thinking and problem solving). I call my sessions “The Earthing Experience.” I use breathwork, handwork, metaphor reading, visualization techniques, immersive personal discussions, narration and story-telling, painting, and physical movement. The activities are soothing and healing in nature.
By connecting to the person’s inner world of imagination and creativity, the workshops aid in the very process of learning, whether it is learning in the classroom or outside, acquiring new skills at the workplace or meeting the ever-new challenges of life. The workshops are customized to the diversity of group /individual settings and background of participants/organizations.
My work also include designing Self Realization workshops,alternative learning spaces, working with the differently abled, teacher training and mentoring for schools and non-governmental organizations and working with children.
My commitment is to enable the path of learning with a sense of life.
