Hindustani Music Classes

"Very grateful that I found Debjani ma'am to learn Hindustani classical. Even in group class she makes sure every student has understood and sung the Alaap or phrase correctly. She doesn't just make you by heart a raag, instead she explains the rules and shows how you can improvise. She also gives excellent tips on vocal riyaaz, voice culture and voice modulations. I love how my depth of understanding of both classical and Bollywood or light music has improved since I started learning from her. "

"Debjani Ma'am is herself a wonderful singer who has a very decorated career spanning over multiple decades and has learnt various genres of music from some of the best artists in the industry. She is also a regular stage performer. Her method of teaching is very good and she takes a lot of individual care so that each one of us gets a sufficient attention so that we are groomed well. She also insists on each one giving stage performances so that we build our confidence and courage to be a good performer. Also from her experience she gives us a lot of tips to improve our performance. Inspite of having such a decorated career, she is a very down-to-earth person. "
