As a student of Mechanical engineering/diploma, you have abundant opportunities in the mechanical stream only, and you can get yourself enrolled in software courses for a mechanical stream like MATHCAD, CAD(Computer Aided Design), FEA(Finite Element Analysis) etc. Proficiency in these tools will give you good stead in your mechanical career.
