Teaching Experience in detail in Vocal Music classes

As a beginner, started to learn classical carnatic vocal music from Vijaya Music Class under the guidance of Vidwan Sri H.V.Krishna Murthy and completed my junior in the same. My next mentor was Vidushi Smt. Ratna Shivshankar who was a music teacher in Maharani's college and an A Grade artist in AIR. Learnt both classical vocal and bhava geethe under her. At present I am undergoing training for Senior vocal music from Vidwan Sri. Chinmaya Rao who is a playback singer and music director. In school and college days I won many prizes for solo and group singing. Have won first place for group singing (bhava geethe, janapada geethe and Ranga geethe) in Bangalore University competitions. Have been giving classical vocal performances in and out of Bangalore in prestigious and cultural occasions. Have performed in AIR Bangalore Program Hakkiya Balaga - an opportunity given for upcoming talents in school. Recently explored playback singing for a Kannada Movie named Avalucky directed by Sri. Ashok Nittur - a commercial child oriented movie yet to be released. I have been sharing my knowledge with my students from 6 years and have been able to train them for school day/annual day. They have also been exposed to stage performances outside the school.
