IdentityI have had a diverse and enriching teaching experience, which has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. Currently, I’m teaching at an ICSE school, where I focus on delivering a curriculum that is rigorous and well-rounded. I’ve been involved in everything from lesson planning to assessing student performance, always aiming to create a supportive and engaging environment that caters to different learning styles. The ICSE framework has taught me to emphasize both academic excellence and the holistic development of my students.
In addition to my current role, I’ve had the opportunity to complete teaching internships in two other ICSE schools. These internships helped me refine my teaching methods and exposed me to different classroom dynamics. I worked alongside experienced mentors who guided me in creating lessons, managing classrooms, and engaging with students effectively. These experiences gave me valuable insights into how different ICSE schools operate and the varied ways students learn within this system.
I also completed an internship at a Karnataka state board school, which offered a completely different perspective on teaching. The curriculum and teaching methods were distinct, and I had to quickly adapt to new educational approaches. This experience broadened my understanding of the differences between state board and ICSE systems, helping me become more flexible and resourceful as a teacher.
Altogether, my experiences in ICSE and state board schools have given me a comprehensive understanding of different educational frameworks, and I’ve learned how to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
