What are electrophiles and nucleophiles? Explain with examples:

Electron defficient species are electrophiles Ex:cations-H+,Na+,CH3+ etc all those are deficient of electrons so these are electrophiles. Electron rich species are nucleophiles.Ex:anions-F-,S-2,CO3-2 etc
