I am a practicing artist and art tutor. I was encouraged to pursue line, shape, and colour at the very childhood. My mother taught me how to enjoy drawing and painting very early on. Having a fundamental knowledge of basic art elements, painting became a passion for me. I pursued a Bachelor’s (hons) and Master's Degree in Drawing and Painting from D.E.I Deemed University, Agra, India. I learned a lot there, studied to old masters and the modern artists who were both inspiring and instructional. I obtained a teaching qualification for further. I am an artist with diverse interests. I have worked in diversity - from Miniatures to Murals, from Graphic printing to Photography, from Water colour to mix media, from commercial art to computer graphics and from traditionalism to modernization. For past 8 years I am teaching different forms of visual arts, like: Drawing and Painting, Paper Crafts, Decoupage, Candle Making, Card Making, Mehandi and Rangoli Design. As a practicing artist and tutor I have a strong interest in extending students’ knowledge in these fields in order to enhance the practical side of their Artwork.
