"I have been taking piano lessons from Ajith for a little over a year. Initially I was a complete novice. However, I quickly learned to read music, recognize notes, and understand the importance of hand position under his guidance. Learned strategies to breakdown new pieces of music to learn them more efficiently. As for my playing, his emphasis on dynamics really prevails and my playing sounds so much more developed than that of a novice. Ajith is a nice piano teacher and whenever I don't understand something, he explains it to me. I highly recommend The Philips Piano Academy for kids and adults. "

"This is a perfect place to take classical piano lessons from Ajith Philip who's an highly passionate musician himself. Being a disciplined pianist with rigorous practice, Mr. Phillips gives individual attention to each student and encourages them on more practice sessions unlike in many other music schools. There are some premium digital pianos available for students to practice. Last but not the least the lighting and the well maintained interiors of this space is perfect for someone with refined sensitivity towards art and music. Highly recommended for serious piano learners. "

"Ajith is a great teacher and I really wish that I could have had the fortune of being his student for longer than three months. As I am moving abroad, I couldn't continue the classes. I have almost learnt how much I would ideally learn in one year, in these three months. He taught me according to my pace. And I would look forward to every single class. He really gives his all into teaching and makes things simple for his students. He corrects them with a lot of patience too. If I had the chance to continue classes with him, I would most definitely continue. Really cherished the classes that I was able to take in these three months. "

"After interviewing with other piano teachers we decided to enroll in Philips Piano Academy because of his expertise and experience in how to teach piano. We really like the way he teaches. He is very thorough when introducing new songs, making practice at home a lot less work and frustrating for my sister and me. My sister especially likes when Ajith makes up accompaniment parts to play along with her songs. "

"I have been taking private piano lessons from Ajith for a while now. He's been really helping me shape my music with different techniques and working on pieces that I really enjoy. The thing I like about Ajith is he doesn't make you feel bad about your mistakes; he's really there to help you. "I've been studying with Ajith for about 3 months now. I feel he gives all the appropriate theoretical knowledge at the right time while also emphasising on practice. He is also very accommodating in terms of students' schedule. You can always schedule an extra class with him if you miss out on a session. "

"I have been on and off learning piano from the past 5 years now. And in the process have joined various classes right from beginner to so called advanced too. I have spent as low as 700Rs/month to some really fancy places in Koramangala charging Rs. 4500/month too. When I reflect back and try to asses the programs in these music institutes one thing that jarringly stands out - none of them have a proper plan/curriculum at all. Overcrowded classes with some low quality instrument is the norm in most of these institutes. Coming from such an experience, Philips Piano Academy was a pleasant surprise. Each class is of 1 hour duration and that too playing on some best digital piano. Now coming to the teaching itself - after one year of getting trained here I can say - If you are really serious about learning piano\keyboard only then join here. Ajith's vast experience as a pianist, more importantly as a teacher is evident in every aspect of his teaching here. If I haven't reached even my first song after one year it's not because I am slow, its only because of the emphasis Ajith puts on getting the fundamentals right. People looking for crash course in piano learning better crash somewhere else. Extensive exercises to go with well prepared curriculum is the focus in this one man show place. There is lot of importance given to techniques as well as feel and the progress can be slow, but worth it! "
