Overview

I know how to teach computer science to a student of any age. If it is particularly 9-12 or btech 1-2nd year student, I can guarantee to be able to bring up a weak student's score to 90% and hone the coding skills of an interested student such that it helps him/her build a base for a brighter future.

First, ensure you have a good command of the basics. That, doesn't mean learning c and Java to the core, but understanding how algorithms work and also a command in the semantics of most programming language. Once you're through, decide which area you want to specialize in, eg., networking, back end... ...more

Once you're through, decide which area you want to specialize in, eg., networking, back end development, web, cloud, mobile etc. When you've decided what you want to pursue, think of a project and execute it, learning the technology from scratch or however much you know. Will make you a pro. Companies and people who are good at one particular job, as it helps in modularizing the work.

Explain the usage of the Network Places component of the windows operating system.

Adding on to the previous answer, it provides a gpu-centric method of accessing shared resources on the network. Eg., if you're connected to a LAN network in your computer lab, you can share files (psst, ofcourse ur lab exercise, even during exam) by finding a shared folder in one of the computers.

Take help. Get a mentor. Have the will to learn, adapt, research. It's easy if you can do these 3 things.

See, from my point of view, going to a 'good' institution is not going to help you excel/just learn computer courses. It'll only put you in a crowd. What you need is a good mentor, and the will to learn, adapt, and research.
