Vocal Music

"I am a working professional and have been learning Carnatic vocals from Manaswini for the past one year. Initially I used to go to her home but for the past 6-7 months I have been attending on Skype. I didn't have any prior experience in Carnatic music. I find her knowledgeable and experienced. She has a very practical approach to teaching music. She doesn't hurry through the lessons, but makes sure that I understand and get hold of the lessons. There are multiple aspects to singing like breath control, singing with open voice etc. She stresses each of these aspects right from the beginning. My singing has improved a lot in the last one year and I thoroughly enjoy learning from her. I definitely recommend her for anybody wanting to learn Carnatic music. "

I am also learning Veena through Skype. I enjoy and look forward for classes. For working people who cannot attend physical classes , she is a blessing. "
