can I get IELTS coaching only for mock test and practice ,not for preparation.

In my opinion, practice and preparation are almost same.If you have attempted ieltsexam earlier,you can opt for crash course with mock tests but if you are new to IELTS exam,you need to practice well and prepare yourself for exam.Mock tests will help in getting an idea of the actual exam situation.Wish... ...more

IELTS is a time managed test.So first of all u will have to practice all the four skillsie.reading,writing,speaking and listening in the given time frame.For this u need to focus on the subject matter and develop the stamina to attempt all the tests except Speaking in one go.Often students get tired... ...more
IELTS is a time managed test.So first of all u will have to practice all the four skillsie.reading,writing,speaking and listening in the given time frame.For this u need to focus on the subject matter and develop the stamina to attempt all the tests except Speaking in one go.Often students get tired towards the end with the result that they fair bad in writing skill which is the last part of the test. So while preparing for IELTS exam,make sure you are thoroughly prepared with all the skills and ensure enough practice of Mock tests towards the end of practice session.

What is the main difference b/w an IDP exam & IELTS exam?

There is no IDP exam. It is just an alternate to British Council conducting IELTS exam. Students aspiring for IELTS exam can enroll for exam through British Council or IDP.
