"My son is practicing English in Kumon Kalyan Nagar. He could not able to read and write letters/characters. Now able to read and write words consists of 3,4,5 characters due to the Kumon practice and the teachers. What amazed me is the worksheet which they give to the child practice everyday in and out. And thrilled to see they are measuring the time for every activities the child does and compare week after week for the improvement. Based on that, weekly review is happening for consistent performance. "

Kumon Mathematics

"I am parent of a 6 year old and was looking for some individualized program that can help channelize my child's energy and increase his focus & Attention span. I was recommended by a teacher at his school about Kumon Kalyannagar centre. When I tried to find out more details from website and reviews, the program seemed a must try. The closest centre to my residence was Kalyan Nagar. I took an appointment and visited the the centre and understood that this center was new and started operation only in Dec 2014. While I was meeting with Preethi Madam on understanding KUMON philosophy, Worksheets and methodology, Vinod Sir was observing how my child was attempting a worksheet. After they were done, Vinod Sir shared his observations about what my child's strengths and improvement needed area were. They shared a plan on where my son will start in Kumon Maths and where he will reach is next 4 months with what are their focus points to improve in my child. It was amazing to hear how accurately they understood that child in such a short time. I was convinced to enroll him into the Maths program immediately. During the first 2 months I had to keep reminding my son to do is Kumon work and sometime it was very tedious to make him take out time and do the KUMON work along with his school work. I saw a slight dip in his interest during the vacation time which is where the instructors were counselling my child and us to not take a break and do 1 worksheet everyday. They did break the worksheets into smaller sections so that the vacation was not spoilt but at the same time the daily study habit is not broken.. It's been 5 months now that my child has been attending the KUMON classes and I could see he has started enjoying doing the worksheets and his mental calculation has improved drastically. During the first school PTM today, I received a feedback Aadi is the 1st one to complete all his work and he does so independently with minimum instructions. This credit I like to share with the Kumon Kalyan Nagar team. They have collaboratively put fantastic efforts to improve my son. I recommend KUMON to every child brilliant or average. "
