I have been in IT sector over 9+ years and worked in various domains like Education, E-Commerce, Automobile, Finance, Insurance and Health Care with some of top MNC's. I have worked with different clients in India and the USA. I worked in India for 5 years and in USA for 3 years on Web and Mobile development applications.

Currently, I am working as Tech lead at a Fintech Startup based in Bangalore on Machine Learning and Data Science, but I have good experience in WEB and Mobile Development as well. I always loved training students and I think that is one the most enjoyable thing for me. Learning new technologies, current market trends has always been a passion and consider me as a life-long learner.

Most of the Institute or Trainers teach only the basics and working on dummy data. But, in real time all the apps need to communicate to Server via api's that is where the real learning is required. If you can work on using the REST api's for your IOS application, then it will give enough knowledge.... ...more

Most of the Institute or Trainers teach only the basics and working on dummy data.

But, in real time all the apps need to communicate to Server via api's that is where the real learning is required. If you can work on using the REST api's for your IOS application, then it will give enough knowledge. No one cannot become an expert in months, it takes 2-3 yrs to become an expert at something. So keep working on more and more apps and will become good at it.

Which is easier to learn, iOS development or Android development?

With the advent of IOS swift. In the long run IOS development is better and easy to learn. It has more demand compared to Android development in the US market.

Get the basics first and develop some sample applications. Once you have done 3-4 sample apps. Start working on apps which uses REST api's to get real-time exposure.

But, in real time all the apps need to communicate to Server via api's that is where the real learning is required. If you can work on using the REST api's for your IOS application, then it will give enough knowledge. No one cannot become an expert in months, it takes 2-3 yrs to become an expert at something.
