I am responsible special educator and an arts based therapist (WCCL Foundation,Pune) with excellent communication & presentation skills, having passion for education, especially towards children with special needs. Motivated, enthusiastic educator with a strong desire to foster a cohesive student learning atmosphere. Currently working for a reputed Special school in Bangalore. My main focus will be on bringing in different art forms as therapy in special education like Dance, Drama,Visual Arts, Drumming and Story sessions. I strongly recommend and support art in education. It is also one of the healing tools not just for children with special needs but adults as well. I take up one To one ABT(arts based therapy) sessions for children with special needs. Now, ABT has been put into practice across the country,since its showing significant changes and improvements in all the domains(fine,gross motor,cognition,vocabulary, social skills and so on) of children with special needs. i have been in this field since 3years and have been working with children who are affected by learning disability, slow learners,children with mental retardation and autism.
