"Mrs manchal is an amazing teacher. Ma'am was my teacher for 2 years. She taught us to learn french for the love of the language irrespective of the marks that we got. This makes her classes interesting and more enjoyable. Mrs manchal teaches at a good pace and is always willing to explain the concept till ever student in the class understands it perfectly. Her notes are very detailed and they helped me immensely during my isce board exams. Our french classes with mrs manchal were always something to look forward to as we learnt not only from the text book. We learnt a lot about the culture, cuisine and customs of france. Mrs manchal was also very particular about homework and although we did not realize it then, it helped us a lot during our tests and exams. I can firmly say that if you train under mrs manchal, you have nothing to worry about and you will surely do well. "

"Miss Manchal is such an awesome teacher. She taught me in high school, and her teaching is still engraved in my mind. She guided the whole class and prepared us for boards, a whole year early. She never goes too fast nor too slow, she sets her pace perfectly. She makes our practice and the one thing that will help you excel in the language. Moreover, her classes are really fun, and we are free to ask her any questions, discuss the french culture and share views. I miss her teaching a lot. "Manchal Ma'am is a wonderful French teacher. She made French sound easy to us. Grammar, (which theoretically sounds tough), is explained in very simple words and examples by her. It was always a pleasure to attend her classes. She has a very creative way of teaching and is very dynamic as a teacher. She always tries her best to make herself available for students who need help even after her classes. According to me, French is a beautiful language. It has an elegance of its own. Manchal Ma'am enhanced this feeling by teaching it in her own way and made a difference in the way we learned French. Des professeurs comme Madame Manchal, on n'en voit pas souvent. The fact that she's younger than most of the other teachers who teach this particular subject makes it easier to relate to her and clear doubts or ask questions. She's adjusting to your specific needs and is patient. She takes the adequate time required to make sure you've understood the portions. French is a subject that does sometimes seem like a burden, with its various intricate aspects, but Manchal ma'am always made sure that we were following her teaching, and often asked questions about the previous class to ensure that we were always paying attention. "Well, i am your typical student who chose french as my second language and then ended up wondering what in the world made me choose so. I like french, yes. Am i good at it? I wasnt. That is, till manchal ma'am came to teach at Mount Carmel College. She has such keen interest and enthusiasm for the subject, that her teaching becomes very interesting and informative. She has a no-nonsense approach and she does her best to make sure all your doubts are cleared . She does not mind being extra-slow just so you can understand the french grammar. She tries to involve even the most reluctant student to join in the class activities and engage in conversation. Most importantly, Ma'am does not give up! No matter how hopeless you might be. I am sure, if you just pay attention in her class and not slack you will go back with great knowledge of the subject. And this coming from a student not too keen on the language, should tell you a lot about Manchal ma'am and her skills. Lastly, I will really miss French classes! Last year was great..wish we could do more classes. Thank you ma'am. "

"Manchal ma'am's classes are definitely a must if you want to learn French. I've been Mrs. Manchal's student for one whole year now, and the language has never been easier for me, especially grammar. Her explanations are crystal clear, and they're accompanied with plenty of examples and exercises. She gives elaborate notes on the structure, usage and variations of each aspect in grammar which I can refer to at any time. Also, her notes are given in both English and French, which is actually helpful because it strengthens my understanding. Her classes have really made me get comfortable with the language. Also, she is extremely patient and approachable. She is always ready to answer questions and clear doubts, even if it's a trivial one. I'll say this with full conviction: If you pay attention to what she's teaching and work the way she asks you to, you'll learn French easily and it's impossible that you'll do poorly in exams. The way she explains things is simply superb; it just can't get any clearer. "

"I was introduced to French in Pre-University College. Not long after, I needed help in order to clear my II PUC board exam. That is when I asked Manchal if she could help me with it. She taught me two years of French portions that I had studied in college in less than a couple of months with so much clarity that I cleared my boards with a distinction. Her teaching methods are best suited for someone with little knowledge of French as she teaches the basics distinctly. "

"I went to her with a very unreasonable request of wanting to brush up on my french for an exam after having taken a break from the language for 4 years! I had about 3 weeks to prepare and there was a lot of grammar to cover. But she took on the task and planned the sessions very well and we were able to get up to date with my portions and i did pretty well in my paper. She is a patient and very organised teacher and is really good with the language and pronunciation. I highly recommend her. "
