IdentityESwaralaya means “ a home of music” – its walls reverberate with the musical notes – the saptha swaras as the students learn the beauty and intricacies of Carnatic Music.
We approaches teaching in a holistic manner – teaching to the students both the techniques of singing as well as other attributes and values that would enable them to grow as individuals and musicians. Aspects such as the various softer aspects of performing, be it stage presence, handling the sound systems etc also therefore form a very integral part of her teaching curriculum. Some of Our senior students have started teaching Carnatic music under her guidance.
As Our students would vouch, We are source of inspiration and strength to her students as they learn to navigate the Ocean that is Carnatic Music.
The ESwaralaya committees comprise of Mrs Usha Srinivasan, students and parents. The committee meets atleast once a month to discuss activities, workshops, concert participation and other music related events. The committee takes responsibility for execution of selected projects and activities and they are actively supported by all Parents and Students
