Dr. Arpita D.

I am Dr. Arpita De. I was awarded with my Ph.D degree in the month of July, 2017 from University of Calcutta. I am presently teaching as a Guest Faculty in Government Science College, Bangalore (both UG as well as PG levels) from July, 2018 and Seshadripuram College, Bangalore (PG course). I too have experience in teaching in two different colleges in Kolkata (Jogamaya Devi College and Lady Brabourne College) for the past 5.75 years and also have experiences of undertaking projects in Botany. I have experience in teaching Genetics and Cell biology, Phycology, Pathology, Taxonomy,Ecology, Palaeobotany etc. in UG level and Biotechnology, Molecular plant pathology and Cell biology in PG level. I am currently serving as a BOE member of BCU as well. I also deliver online lectures through different online platforms and my own youtube channel.
My area of research is Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (in two trophic levels- plants and mammals), the details of which (my research experience and publications) has been provided in the attached CV for your kind perusal. A 3 - year UGC Major Project on Phytoremediation has been successfully completed by me. I have multiple number of publications and have experience in delivering lectures in various national and international seminars and have also organized workshops as resource person.
