I do not teach the students tricks and shortcuts; I uphold that they think actively, without exceptions, so that they arrive at answers themselves. I actively encourage any efforts made towards thinking actively and reject any funny business. I am, but not rigid in doing so, for I share a great empathy with my students and have a place in my heart to let go if things become excessively stressful, I value peace of mind and know the importance of keeping the learning process fun and enjoyable. I appreciate diversity and understand my own differences so that when the situation demands - I keep aside my differences and actively work on supporting my students' needs. Validating their struggles by sharing my own stories, excusing their limitations, asking to be excused for my own, and helping them let go of negative emotions. These positive values that I inculcate are nothing but good, for they help make the learning experience friendly, teach the students positive values, and heal them of their struggles.

"My son's demo class with Mr. Deepank was terrible. The tutor asked my son how to solve questions instead of teaching and didn’t even know the formulas, giving wrong answers. For example, he called -5 retardation, saying it means negative acceleration, but my son clarified that it occurs when acceleration and velocity are in opposite directions. In another question, the tutor derived the relation incorrectly, and my son had to correct him.The tutor lacked basic knowledge and couldn’t solve even one question correctly, let alone handle all three subjects. Despite receiving all the questions in advance, he asked my son to reshare them. He also rescheduled the session without notice, forcing my son to attend during his Allen class due to which he couldn’t unmute his mic. After this extremely poor session and me politely saying 'no thanks' for further discussion, the tutor sent me long messages blaming my son for being rude and asking unrelated questions, which was untrue, and even said not to take the demo seriously. The entire experience was highly unprofessional and disappointing."
