Cyber Security - Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
Any Fresh Graduate and already working Software Professional can attend this training for their career growth and long term.
Application Security encompasses measures taken to prevent gaps in the security policy of an application or the underlying system (vulnerabilities) through flaws in the design, development, deployment, upgrade, or maintenance of the application.
Most applications need to be continuously available to customers, employees, partners, suppliers and they are usually a weak link in enterprise security. When hackers gain access to applications, they often have direct access to confidential back-end data on customers and the company.
No matter how much effort went into a thorough architecture and design, applications can still sustain vulnerabilities. Application Security testing techniques scour for vulnerabilities or security holes in applications which can be exploited. Identifying critical vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) saves major time, remediation efforts and expenses than if these flaws were found towards the end of the cycle.
Ideally, security testing should be implemented throughout the entire SDLC so that vulnerabilities may be addressed in a timely and thorough manner. Unfortunately, testing is often conducted as an afterthought at the end of the development cycle.
